What is Science?

When I was a little kid, science was defined as the study of living things and non living things. Today, i get to learn that science is a process of gaining new knowledge and refining existing knowledge.
Today, I come across a new direction, philosophy of science as a branch of philosophy that looks into the assumptions, methods, processes, and implications of science.

The Scope of science goes so deep and cannot be underestimated and is based on knowledge acquisition in various processes of the living and the non living.

Science operates within this naturalistic framework which is subject to various individual opinions, science cannot be wrong as long as various sub-inventions have been attributed to a defined subject.

The diversity of science roots from the belief of the scientist based on his or her attribution though some scientific theorems can not be justified or explained. The superstitious scientist bases scientific occurrence on beliefs despite the reality for example when a rainbow appears the superstitious person will claim the god of destruction was about to strike and he forgave mankind whereas the science of the rainbow formation occurs when sunlight hits a rain droplet, some of the light is reflected. The electromagnetic spectrum is made of light with many different wavelengths, and each is reflected at a different angle. Thus, spectrum is separated, producing a rainbow.

Science can also be defined as the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

The science base and the naturalistic knowledge base differs from community, individual and various theories.
